Education and Qualifications

  • Tim Klob attended law school at Georgia State University. He obtained a degree in civil engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington. Before becoming a lawyer, he worked as a transportation engineer preparing traffic studies for GDOT highway projects. He is admitted to practice law in all Georgia courts and is also licensed in Georgia as a Professional Engineer.


  • Mr. Klob is a retired Army Reserve Lieutenant Colonel with over 25 years of military service. While in the Army Reserve, Tim served as a military lawyer in the JAG Corps. His assignments included representing wounded warriors in medical disability hearings and providing legal assistance to Soldiers and their families. As a result of his service on behalf of wounded warriors at Fort Hood, he was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal by the Southern Regional Medical Command.


  • Tim is passionate about helping injured workers obtain the best possible medical treatment and financial outcome in their claims. His primary mission is enabling injured workers to navigate the workers' compensation system and he understands how the second-order effects of a work injury can impact every other aspect of a client's life. As a former engineer, Tim takes a systematic problem-solving approach to his cases, and he ensures that his clients are always fully informed to they can make the best decisions at every step of the process.


  • Mr. Klob is currently a workers' compensation attorney in Dekalb  County, Georgia and represents injured workers statewide. Tim previously managed a disability law firm in Loganville, Georgia. During this time, he represented individuals in workers' compensation claims, veterans' benefits appeals, and Social Security disability hearings. Tim has also served as a Gwinnett County magistrate court judge as well as past president of the Walton County Bar Association, and he currently serves on the Zoning Board of Appeals for the City of Grayson. He has been selected for the Georgia Super Lawyers list, a rating service of outstanding lawyers for which not more than five percent of lawyers in each state are selected each year.


  • Tim is certified as a Registered Neutral by the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution. He obtained his training in civil mediation through Henning Mediation & Arbitration Services and is currently affiliated as a mediator with Legion Mediation in Gainesville, Georgia.


  • In his free time, Tim enjoys playing ukulele, coaching youth soccer, and spending time with his family and rescue dogs.
